Organisations of all sizes and sectors are increasingly at risk of disruption from terrorism, floods, pandemics, power failures, security incidents, technological disruptions and data disasters. Business Continuity methods have been developed as an innovative response to such threats and many others, including minor day-day incidents, impacting business life, that may have a serious cumulative effect. ICT Continuity is the ICT component of Business Continuity Management Programmes. Please note: Prior to BS 25777, aspects of ICT Continuity were often referred to as "IT Disaster Recovery".

Objectives
To ensure you and other delegates gain the skills, knowledge and expertise to lead, make a major contribution to or audit the ICT Continuity component of a Business Continuity Management programme within an organisation of any size or sector.
Content
Through an enjoyable combination of case studies, group work and presentations this interactive course we will cover ICT Continuity as it relates to the Good Practice Guide & Standards of the Business Continuity Institute and other relevant business continuity standards. We will particularly focus on the special role of Business Impact Analysis in prioritising application recovery, cost effectively aligning resilience within ICT infrastructures to “the business” and ICT Continuity plan creation, testing and exercising.
We will also explore other key topics with you and other delegates, as they relate to the course objectives, including BS 25777 “Code of Practice for ICT Continuity Management”, virtualisation, BS 25999 "Code of Practice for Business Continuity Management, ITIL,
pandemics.
NB: To thoroughly review the BS 25777 in extra depth, delegates we would strongly recommend that you stay on for a 3rd day and take Automata’s BS 25777 EXTRA! course.

Lecturer Practitioners:
Either Garry Poole or Jim Burtles will lead you through this highly informative course. Both Garry and Jim are Fellows of the BCI, were founder members of the Institute and work with major organisations across the globe. Garry was a UK Business Continuity Manager of the Year (Corporate Insurance & Risk Magazine) and subsequently global BCM director of a major telecommunications company. Both served served as elected BCI directors for six years assisting with its growth across the globe.

Accommodation
Accommodation and meals may be booked at our superb conference centre for before, during and after the course to suit your convenience. This should be done through Automata at the same time as you make your course booking. Fees are as follows:

£25 + VAT for a superb three course evening meal.
NB: We would recommend booking the course evening meal on the first night of the training as it will be a marvellous opportunity to socialise with other delegates!
