founding Fellow of the BCI and served for 7 Years as the Standards
Officer. He is a well known international speaker with a wealth
of experience that includes Business Continuity assignments in 22
countries in many sectors including national and local government,
telecommunications, manufacturing, retail and finance industries.
He has been delivering the famous Business Continuity Masterclass
now for over 15 years during which time he has introduced over 1200
practitioners to the subject.
His principal innovations to date have included
many diverse concepts. He developed the Backlog Trap, which is now
commonly accepted as a basic element of Business Continuity Management.
He was responsible for the introduction of Catastrophe Theory and
Organic Integrity Modeling to Disaster Recovery. His Power Training
is a unique learning process that he has developed from his Games
Theory. It provides a powerful way of extending the intellectual
horizons of senior executives through inventive role playing.
The latest product from this stable of ideas is the concept of Operational
Governance that underpins and extends the notion of Corporate Governance
by providing a practical operational model to support the aims of
Governance.
