Regardless of your previous experience of BCM, it will be your ideal choice if you wish to learn how to manage or contribute to an advanced BCM programme. It is a highly informative, 4 day course, incorporating selected components of our 1 and 2 day courses, topical issues and more. This August, join delegates from organisations of all sizes and sectors at our International Business Continuity Summer School! Venue This exclusive course is held at Whittlebury Hall in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. The centre features a swimming pool, spa, sauna, gym and jogging trails. Each bedroom is designed to be a home from home for you to work, network and relax. Objectives To ensure you gain the skills, knowledge and expertise to manage, or contribute to, advanced BCM programmes within organisations of any size or sector. Content Through an enjoyable combination of case studies, group work, exercises and presentations the first two days of this interactive course will be based on core standards. On the third day, we will review many other key BCM issues with you and other delegates such as pandemics, BS 25999 Code of Practice for BCM, BS 257777 ICT Continuity Management and the UK Civil Contingencies Act. This day will also serve as a "Continuity Clinic" to explore your own and other delegates' interests and concerns. During the evening a special Gala Meal will be held. On the final day, you will take part in a BCM exercise with other delegates. The course will be brought to a close by an explanation of how to create your own BCM System for governance purposes. Garry was a UK Business Continuity Manager of the Year (Corporate Insurance & Risk Magazine) and subsequently global BCM director of a major telecommunications company. Both served served as elected BCI directors for six years assisting with its growth across the globe.
